Fast Food and Restaurant advice
I shall be coming over to your glorious country in 4 weeks time (Florida). I see so many adverts watching Football of great looking Fast food and dine out places I don't know where to start.

For the record the following US Brands have found their way over to the UK and are established.


Burgers

Macdonalds
Burger King

Pizza

Dominoes
Papa Johns
Pizza Hut

Chicken

KFC


So I will avoid these places and be looking to new places to eat out can you give me any recommendations? Little Caesars and Sonic are on the list so far?

I think it's kind of amusing that a dude from England wants to come to the USA to load up on crappy fast food. Man, if you're in Florida, eat seafood till you can't stand it any more. and Key Lime Pie. And lots of rum drinks...

I do too - but I certainly understand the appeal - It's be like my wanting to go to all of their specialty markets over there - such as meat mkts. and bread mkts.

I tend to think of the way my Grandma cooked as 'American' food. But there are several regional styles. She was a classic old school Southern (South Eastern) homemaker in the kitchen.
