The other Mafia geeeneeuses are stating that all Mahomes does is throw short and watch his receivers get YAC. It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOO simple that they just need to take the short passes away...

I wish these people would get jobs as defensive coordinators.

I know, right?

It's almost like the Chargers spent the entire game using a game plan that was designed to stop Kelce, but it ultimately failed because of a couple plays in the 4th quarter that Andy and the offense made in game adjustments on because they saw what the Chargers were trying to do with James on Kelce and how they were playing him.

Hell, they even talked about it post game.

There’s days I think you could take Kelce and every WR we have away and Patrick ****ing Mahomes would still go out there and beat you with 5 RBs. If he’s on you’re screwed. And he’s usually on.

Me too. Please try to limit Mahomes' short throws. I want another 6 touchdown Steelers game.

Unbelievable. This is in a different thread, but check out the nonsense from Alphadawg7:

"Let me cheer you up.

In the last 3 games we have played KC, they have all been in KC as we know.*
*
We beat them 3 times, twice relatively decisively. The third time, we beat them at Mahomes best but then gave away the game thanks to a ST Coach blunder setting off a bunch of confusion and lost focus by failing to tell Bass (but told everyone else) to squib kick it."

This is pure nonsense.

1. They beat KC decisively in the regular season last year.

2. Rewatch that game. Almost all of the Bills scoring was Allen chucking it deep to a wide open Davis who was like that because our secondary was that bad. His last TD was a product of Hughes falling down. He didn’t throw a dagger in a tight window, he made a throw that any competent starting QB in the league should make. Plus KC moved the ball at will against the #1 defense in the league. They can whine about not squib kicking it but the fact remains that the #1 defense couldn’t get a stop in 13 seconds.

3. For the game this year, if Mahomes throws it away instead of trying to make a play that first INT we most likely get a FG. If Butker makes a chip shot (by his standards) FG then it’s all irrelevant as KC would have been sitting on a 26-17 before Buffalo scored. They did this while missing Gay and starting two rookie CBs, one drafted in the 4th and another in the 7th. They won that game and credit where credit is due. They made the plays and KC did not, but it was by no means a dominant win.

Hell, they could've even held us to a FG and got the ball back with a chance to match or end it.

Based on the last few minutes of regulation, I would not have bet on KC's defense if Buffalo had won the toss...

Butker also missed a field goal to end the first half of the Playoff game, which allowed Buffalo to have the lead with 13 seconds left.
