Bills vs Bengals

Gonna be the decider for HFA. Worst case the Bills win and we secure the 2nd seed. Best case Bills lose and we become the 1 seed.

Bengals are a 1/2 game ahead of the Ravens for the division lead and this game could give them the 2 seed and a chance at the 1 seed if they win.

Primetime in Cincinnati. Should be good

Well to be fair CP prides itself in coming off very abrasive. It's hard to tell on a message board that most are just screwing around and that everyone gets shit. I think most fans would have no problem being on this site if they got used to it.

Look at how many non-Chiefs fans hang around here. I can't imagine other boards have stuff similar to that.

Lol, no worries. I haven't posted here on CP for nearly a year but frequently browse topics and threads. I think it's a good cesspool, no problems on my end with it.

Regardless of all AFC teams, the one I want to see the least in the playoffs is Cincinnati. Need them to knock off Buffalo and then lose to anyone in the playoffs.
I'm with you on Miami, but hoping they make it. If they don't, I believe that will still give Pittsburgh strong life to get in as the #7. Seeing both the Ravens and Steelers make it into the playoffs is just nauseating for me as a Bengals fan.

Bengals are playing much better now late in the year although some injuries are becoming concerning. I believe the Bengals can play with and beat anybody (Bills this week), but also can expect them to be flat and choke one away as well. If they are "on" this week, I could see them defeating the Bills. They have to be "on" though.

I hear you with teams you'd rather not see in the playoffs. NFL is predicated greatly on matchups,, and the matchup I don't like for Cincy seeing in the playoffs is the Ravens. Division for with a tough defense that always brings it against Cincy. I'd rather avoid them if at all possible.

Division matchups in the playoffs suck. Never know how those games may go and you already have seen that matchup more times than you can count. Ravens would get bounced bad by Chiefs/Bills but I guarantee they'd give Cincy a real worry.

Probably has a ton to do with CP not auto banning fans of other teams unless they drink the KC Kool Aid. It takes a lot for opposing fans to get banned from here. CP is not a Chiefs echo chamber where you must be a Chiefs fan and say only great things the Chiefs. As such it’s more welcoming and tolerant than other boards but from the outside looking in could be viewed as a cesspool.

Division matchups are the worst which is why you will find very few on here eager to face the Chargers in the playoffs despite beating them twice in the regular season. I would still rather face them than the Bengals, not because I feel they are better or more talented or even better coached than KC. They currently matchup poorly against the Chiefs and I would have to think that being 0-3 in two years takes a mental toll as well.

Read it again. I posted here what I bolded and was referring to so you don't have to go back and look. Losing this one does not severely complicate their chances to win the North. In fact, if the Ravens beat the Steelers, it does not make any difference what the Bengals do vs the Bills with regards to winning the North. The North is their division.

Am I still typing to fast for you?

There is no possible scenario to where the Bengals will be resting starters ( "throwing" a meaningless game) in these next two weeks. No chance in Hades.

If Cincy beats the Bills and then the Ravens, they are guaranteed the #2 seed with a slim outside chance of still getting the #1 seed.

If Cincy can get the #2 seed over Buffalo with winning out that is a huge advantage over throwing a game and being the #3and having to go to Orchard Park (or Detroit Ford Field) to face Buffalo in a Divisional round.
