Great game. I loved the versatility shown by Svi. He's a natural passer and has good instinct for the game. He's going to be fun to watch.

I don't know if MSU is down this year or if they start slow like we do, but I expected better execution from them. I'm sure they'll come together and be good, just like us.

But it was good to play a tough game and pull out the win.

Izzos teams always play physical and disciplined. KU is neither of those things at the moment. They looked a lot better on D against Duke than they did today.

Sparty usually starts slow, one reason they are often under-seeded in the tourney. KU however typically does not.

He'll be fine. Relax. If we beat top 20 teams with him going 0-10, then so be it. He won't continue to shoot so poorly, but his defense is always there.

I'm sorry it upsets you for me to state the obvious, but Selden played a horrendous basketball game yesterday and has had an abysmal start to the season. Considering his talent level, the expectations were much higher than this.

He was fine defensively (though I've been far more impressed by Cliff's impact there than anything else so far).

But where the rest of Wayne's game was (and has been in these first 6 games), I have no idea. He was making Oubre-like mistakes almost any time he got the ball against MSU. I don't know if he's lost his confidence, but he's not even playing at the level he did just last season. With his skillset and importance to this team, they'll need him to come out of this soon. And to take a further step forward.

It's pretty remarkable what he's doing at such a young age. So much talent. Lucky to have him for 2 years because I'm almost certain he'll be the team's best player in 2015-2016 (before going into the lottery right after).
