And as much as his FT shooting remains an issue, it was really clutch to make that one. Game was on the line and he knew it.

I said a while back he was the best NBA prospect other than Embiid that Self has had and I maintain that. He's showing now that he can make 3s too.

Should be a top 3 pick this year with a shot at #1.

Tried to give that one away with bad defense and FT shooting. We were lucky to come out with a win. Jackson was fun to watch though. I think our 6-7 man rotation is catching up with us. Mason and Graham have to play better for us to beat WV Monday. Svi needs to take a defense clinic this summer. He's terrible.

Svi has no lateral quickness and his wing span is that of a 10 year old-boy. You can't teach either of those things. He'll be playing in Europe.

His wingspan is fine. It's his feet. I hope it's not his quickness because if that's it, he'll never defend. I hope it's bad technique/focus. Some of it is going to the wrong place. Some of it on the baseline is he needs to open up and cut off the middle. I think some work on his fundamentals can go a long way.

Until then, he can't guard anyone with a decent handle, it's gotta be Vick.

Do you know who I miss? Releford. That dude could shut down anyone. Need him to defend the post? Sure no problem. Need him to keep a guy from catching the ball? Don't even need to ask. Need to stop the ball? Psssht. Watch this.

Vick is pretty terrible defensively too. Not upgrading much at all in that area and offensively you lose some when Svi goes out.

His on the ball defense is markedly better. But neither one can put a body on somebody and grab a defensive rebound. Makes me want to rip my ****ing hair out (if I wasn't old and bald)
