Marco Gonzalez is having an interesting debut so far. 2 perfect innings and double in his first at bat.

He is from Colorado and most of the fans appear to be rooting for him today. His Dad works for the Rockies as well, talk about a tough position to be in.

Martinez seems to be the only animated player in the dugout. Maybe liven up a stuff locker room or come off as Brendan Ryan and the rest of the players shun his personality.

I really want to believe in this team. I really do. I'm still not convinced that they'll hit enough, but I am on board with the pitching staff, Rosenthal finally hitting 100 mph was encouraging. Marco looks like he'll be fine as a fill in.

Need to get Wacha healthy, though.

Shelby Miller needs to start living up to his potential as well. He is still young but he is starting to remind me of Rasmus from a performance and makeup standpoint.

Rosenthal battling Tulo with the game on the line was awesome to watch. Both pitcher and batter at the top of the game. Rosey throwing his best and not trying to fool him. Tulo trying to tie the game with one swing. Rosey hitting 100mph again.

Martinez is young and looks to be an implusive. You see him standing and talking to Waino at the games all the time. Having Waino to tutor these young guys in invaluable. Having the best catcher in the game leading you on the field. He has a great chance to reach his full potential. As he matures and keeps his focus the whole game..........he could be a top of the rotation guy.
