*** OFFICIAL 2007 NFL Draft Thread, for Apr 28-29***

Consult the "Draft Planet" forum for background info and links beyond these:

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/forumdisplay.php?f=29

Useful "Draft Links" at: http://www.hailredskins.com/MockDraft.htm

Soooooooooo......

The Chiefs rebuild under Herm Edwards....will trade Trent Green to Miami for additional picks (it seems); and are willing to "dangle" LJ for a Hershel Walker/Ricky Williams type deal (but probably just 'posturing' in the end)....so we are left with (at the moment) SEVEN picks in seven rounds.

(23)
(54)
(82)From St. Louis
(148)from Buffalo through St. Louis
(160)
(196)
(231)

WHO should the Chiefs draft?

WHAT do you think of who they DID draft?

Will these picks HELP the "youth movement" toward a true SuperBowl contender?

Thoughts, questions, comments....rants and raves, to be included as posts below....

Are you ready???

I am...let's go....

I don't think so......

I think Eric Wright is the highest player on the Chiefs board right now.

Did the Colts give up next year's first round pick to get Ugoh?

We need DT & OT way worse than a C.

Of course there's that whole thing of the CB's being the best players left......especially Wright who's an athletic freak with experience in our defensive scheme.
