I think the x-factor for WSU would be Van Vleet. The guy is so smooth and our guards are not good defensively at all.

KU's x-factor is Embiid. The Valley doesn't have big, lengthy men like him. As long as he could stay out of foul trouble I really like KU's chances.

Tharpe guards FVV.
Selden guards Cotton.
Wiggins guards Baker (would also guard Cotton).
Ellis guards Early.
Embiid guards Coleby/Lufile/ Carter

Ellis is already bad defensively, but Early can really stretch things for WSU. I would like to see Wiggins on him if it works out that way.

It'd be one helluva game.

Their front court doesn't really worry at me all, from an offensive stand point.

Carter, Lufile, Coleby are good depth -- but none of them really stick out. Their tallest post is 6'9".

I would expect Black, Traylor, Lucas (possibly) could handle them from the defensive side. Embiid would be an absolute game changer that game if he's healthy and not in foul trouble.
