NFL.com picks Denver. SI picks Denver. Bleacher Report picks Denver. USA Today picks Denver.

ESPN almost had a clean sweep picking Denver over the Chiefs. Keyshawn picked the Chiefs.

I love this.

If the Chiefs win this game, the egg smell will be sweet.

On NFL Network today they had 2 out of 3 guys pick the Chiefs during Total Access/AFC Playbook.

Well screw the ATL team then.

I think it was someone like Willie McGhinist and Darren Sharper than said we were going to win.

I'm getting more concerned about the hype. I get it, but I agree that it's exciting, just quit climbing the ladder because it'll just make the fall longer should this go bad.. The bigger the stage is, the more inclined the NFL will be to make sure the best downstream TV-ratings outcome is achieved. And yes, I do think the NFL will selectively see, interpret, and apply the rules based on perceived or projected downstream profits.

Just play the ****ing game.

This is a bigger game for the Donks. They can't go two back with Foxbourough and Arrowhead lurking in back to back weeks.

Not to mention that I think the low O2 level, as always, will play into this game a LOT more than it's being given credit for. From the middle of the 3rd quarter to the end of the 4th quarter, with only 24-36 hours in town, the big boys are going to be be hurting in the lung department.

Don't believe me, well I'll submit that if you fly to Denver and go running that same day, you'll know what I'm talking about. If you don't feel it, that's because you just flew from another high-altitude city that you live in.

I totally think the Chiefs should have spent the week at altitude in Denver. Perhaps not enough, but a lot better than 24 hours...

This very true.. Let's hope that makes them play stupid...

That being said, the press around here is going full-on stupid about this one game. Like it's the actual Super Bowl!

With the way they're pumping it up, should we lose, you might see some players cry like they just lost the SB instead of one regular season "division" game.

It's a game they are expected to win and told they can just walk in and take. Pressures on them. To win....and keep Jughead alive another week.
