It was loud, but this whole guiness thing is BS. I am comfortable with our stadiums atmosphere without the guinness clowns and some phony sound device.
btw, This Seahawk team is a beast! |

It may not have been an earth-shattering victory in the literal sense, but the Seattle Seahawks' 34-7 win over the New Orleans Saints Monday night did shake up the earth a bit. Rowdy fans at CenturyLink Field cheered and jostled enough during the game to register at an earthquake monitoring station about a block from the stadium. John Vidale, the director of the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network and a professor at the University of Washington, told CNN the station registered five earthshaking moments during the game, some in the 1 to 2-magnitude range. Seattle's KIRO-TV reports the largest seismic event occurred when Michael Bennett returned a ball fumbled by Saints quarterback Drew Brees for a touchdown in the first quarter. Unsurprisingly, Seahawks fans also set a record Monday night for being the loudest outdoor sports stadium. Crowd noise reached 137.6 decibels in the second quarter of the game, breaking the previous record of 137.5 decibels, set by Kansas City Chiefs fans in October. Earth-rattling fans in Seattle have registered on the Richter scale once before, in 2011. Coincidentally, that was also during a Saints game. |

Shit, they only broke our record by 1/10th of a decibel on a Monday night whooping of one of the best teams in the league?
We'd have shattered that record if we set it in a 34-7 shellacking of the Broncos on Monday night football. |

There were people on my FB feed expressing sincere disappointment at this record being broken.

Once again, who gives a **** if the crowd does not show up to every game. The crowd has been as piss poor this year as years past. TERRORHEAD has not returned.
People where telling me to sit during third down plays FFS! |

Arrowhead is never going to fully be back until we win something meaningful; and give the fans hope that they are actually rooting for a legit winner.

Personally, I think we were louder in the Bronco game this weekend. The crowd did not disappoint. Now the Charger game the crowd sucked ass.

Let it go. If it kills you to acknowledge that they are .03 decibels louder than us then... I don't know how to tell you that your life needs direction.

No interest in a back and forth on something so meaningless. Let them have their architecturally enhanced record.

Ironically, i noticed on TV it was pretty loud when the Broncos scored. Must have been a ton of a Donkey fans there?

Still, overall, Terrorhead Returns is grossly overstated. Getting the crowd roar record was fun and all, but we gotta make that count every game. |
