Alex Smith: "Felt like couldnt get a single call"

It's unlike smith to blame officiating but it's been pretty evident that we just don't get the calls that other teams get especially during crucial moments. This is probably why kelce wasn't targeted much in second half. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...a-single-call/

Two assignments of note: Carl Cheffers is working his second game in Kansas City this season. Normally, working two home games of the same team in one regular season violates scheduling rules. This is especially puzzling also, since Cheffers was the referee of the Divisional Playoff last year which eliminated the Chiefs from the postseason.
Gee. Imagine that....What a coincidence.

Chiefs' fans have been complaining about getting screwed by the refs all year long. Alex Smith agrees.

Yeah....SHOULD.

Funny how the implications that word and the actions of human beings in the real world rarely ever run parallel.

It is an absolute shame that this guy does not get jump balls. I want to punch Andy and Alex repeteadly for not throwing this guy fades
I know Conley's combine stats were ridiculous, but he has not made a single play I can remember that showed off this athleticism or power. Julio Jones? Throw it up in the air and he finds a way through sheer strength to come down with it. Conley honestly hasn't done much aside from out routes. He seems quite JAGish to me. And as much as I might want to blame that on Smith, I see more Julio Jones in 5'10 Tyreek Hill than I do in Conley. Hill fights for it and makes plays happen. Conley seems like he hasn't found the rhythm or just can't?

At training camp at River Falls. Getting autographs and the sun was setting to the west. My back was to the sun. Roaf was to the east. He still eclipsed the sun.

My god was he big. But very nice that day.

Smith is complaining about what we all know to be true.

We have played against a lot of teams that had the opportunity to lose their fan base for the season. We got screwed in a lot of those games. Yea, we played like shit-but the refs seems to put us over the edge.

Playing against one team is hard. Playing against two is impossible.
