AT Perry, Tillman, that type of guy is your prototypical 'X' guy.

Not that we should count on him, but should Justyn Ross be healthy, he's that type of body, too.

But I would still prefer to either sign or draft a guy early to fit that role.
Go watch Mingo. There's a 23min video on YouTube, so you get more than just typical big play highlights.

Watch his senior bowl reps too.

But as I've said many times, why would they take KC's 4th when they could take any other team's 4th that would be a better value? So it seems to me like KC would have to offer at least a pair of picks, say one this season and one next, just to be in the conversation. Which is why I think DHop is a longshot at best. Too many other teams can offer more value.

Bottom line though, KC needs to put someone in the WR room they can count on to gain yards, get 1st downs and score TDs at a much higher rate than what we currently have in the room.
Because honestly a bunch of the teams that were interested, spent money on WR in FA.

6-2, 220 and runs a 4.45 and we've seen him make tightly contested catches.

I like Mingo. I keep seeing him go in the 3rd and 4th. But I like what I've seen.

That ownership has done exactly that before, and recently.

A late 4th doesn't do shit for them. Hopkins is probably their best player, certainly is on offense. If they go 3-14 because they traded him for a fourth, they'd probably clean house again.

I'll take your word for it. I haven't followed FA that closely so far, other than to see which Chiefs players have signed with other teams.

But it's a fact that FAs typically go for less as FA progresses, and Veach obviously knows that because he rarely if ever has signed a veteran FA early in the process. It's usually after the draft.

Getting him off their books does.

They said they wanted a 2nd, I'd guess that means they'll take a 3rd.

Well, prior to getting Taylor, I thought we could get two of the three. Now I'm kind of feeling like we can get a DE and WR in those first two rounds, whichever is best value as the board lays.

Had not watched Mingo until now. He looks like a day one starter with upside.
