Don't know you at all or really anyone else on this forum. I get the "torch" reference but we don't need to go there. I actually am on your side as I think there's been a lot of racism - cloaked or otherwise - around these anthem issues (not in this thread but in general in the KC area). Frankly I'm strongly liberal and go to the DC forum and find that a lot of people I respect here having political leanings I vehemently disagree with. Peters is as talented as anyone in the game but there's a cost/benefit analysis an organization needs to do for anyone prior to doling out tens of millions of dollars. So then explain to me why Travis Kelce is the franchise poster boy after throwing a flag directly at an official while MP gets traded after launching a flag into the stands???
