Yeah but cap space doesn't mean much if you just flat out suck. Cleveland and Oakland, San Francisco, bunch of teams like that always flush with cap space in the past 5-7 years and they just suck.

Chiefs have Mahomes and a great coach, that's #1 and #2 on the team building priority list.

Money talks.

Chiefs are good now. They’ve gotta be smart about it. Consistently good teams aren’t gonna always have money to spend.

Keep your guys, draft well and get who you need

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Browns end up being the toughest team to date this Sunday, lol.

My takes generally suck.

That's still thin. I hope Mckenzie is good, but I'm not counting on it.

None of these are in and of themselves a big problem, just saying that there are a lot of holes; and I too would let a lot of them walk, but you do have to have people to fill those holes.

Since Mahomes could make even me look good on the line, start throwing the McKenzie kid out there in short, samples. If they get up on someone?

I'd love to see that happen in games that are well in the bag, with Henne at QB... it'd probably accelerate his learning curve

We'll get a "Mahomes discount" though - from players who want to win and especially receivers who want to put up #s.

We likely have St Patrick for 15-20 years, lets not get him killed while getting McKenzie up to speed in me and rtmikes imaginary scenario... thats all I'm saying

Yesterday's practice was limited for everyone so someone said on Twitter not to read this as a step back.
