Yes. Having to put ass-cheeks to seat every time you take a leak would suck. Although I know women can do that "hover" thing.

But it's not without drawbacks. Women never have to deal with the unpleasantness of "The Devil's Fork", which is my term for a wayward pube across the stream that results in two equidistant flows which manage to wet your jeans as well as your sneakers.
