This is complete uninformed bullshit. His deep ball has been great and he lived to throw the ball down field. It's what made most Iowa fans love him.

Your post reeks of stupid. I also want to see the kid shine, but wipe his jizz off your face, before posting.

I once saw Stanzi throw a football through a whale's blowhole at 300 yards in a headwind.

B/c you don't see Stanzi try to throw the ball through the back of a WR's skull? He throws a catchable ball. Throws well down field, and puts a lot of touch on his passes. Dude throws the ball 45yds. down field running to his right, just like many of Luck's passes, and it looks effortless. Your "idea" of arm strength is silly to me. The only QB I know of who can throw the ball as hard as he can accurately is Rodgers. Lots of guys can throw hard. Good for them.

You're right theres nothing that man can't do. He had Tony Moeaki, Marvin Mcnutt, A good RB and solid offensive line and dammit he led them to the 83rd ranked offense in college football! Theres no flaws in his game!

Fair enough. If the pass was better the back has a better chance to get OOB and Iowa has a chance to line up for a game winning field goal against a top 10 team. The back had to stop his motion toward the sideline to catch the ball.

WTF is a 3rd yard pass?

FFS if he throws the ball away, he would have had about 7 seconds left and no timeouts.

He saw an opportunity to gain enough yards to get us into GWFG range and took it and it didnt work out.

In more times than not, those types of situations turned into wins as evidenced in his win loss percentage.

After he initially cut up field. It's a split second mistake, on both Stanzi and the RB's part. Big deal. Can't tell me that every QB in the HOF doesn't have a similar play under their belts. Especially in their college days. Can't win them all.

How many avid college fans haven't seen two years of Luck? Luck is Luck, you watch to see him, not Stanford. Why would I watch Oregon state?

Argument fail. Now your hawk homerism is coming out. Stanzi is average, and crowning him as our savioiur, makes me puke. He was a 5th round fukn pick. Do you honestly think he is a legit qb in the nfl. Serious question??

We still don't have a QB. & until this regeme admits failure. They can die.

Just suck his dick already. Iowa lost 5 games his Senior year by 7 points or less. Sounds like he had plenty of chances in those types of situations.

Decision making is somtimes a product of maturity.
I KNOW you dont like stats, but anything if I use things other than them in this case, its "just the Iowa Homer talking"

Junior year:
57% completions
2417 yards
7.7 YPA
17tds
15ints

Senior year:
64% completions
3004 yards
8.7 YPA
25 TD
4 INT

NIGHT AND DAY as far as decision making from Junior to Senior year.

What's his range.

From the original LOS, that is about a 55 yard kick.
We had about as good a chance of completing that dumpoff to the back for enough yardage to kick a FG (and make it) as we would have of completing the ensuing hail mary pass if the pass to the back had gone incomplete.

I want my quarterback to take the opportunity to win a game whenever its presented, not wait for another chance.

Tell that to Big Ben. Every NFL QB, even clutch ones, make bad decisions in desperate situations. Every one of them. They are human. This is a college game BTW.

Im gonna go ahead and let someone else break that down for you, Im not gonna waste my time.

My short version though... the defense folded on final drives on almost every one of those games.

Yeah and they were clearly out of shape. I remember seeing shots of them on the sidelines gasping for air in the second half.
