I'm going to reserve judgement on this until we see what we get in return. This I will say: Clark saw Marty and Carl bring in loose cannon guys like Chester McGlocklin, Andre Rison and Carlton Gray, and they were more trouble than they were worth. The whole kneeling for the anthem thing may be a factor. Think of all the military that is in our "Chiefs Kingdom": Ft. Riley, Ft. Leavenworth, Whiteman AFB, Ft. Leonard Wood, Offutt AFB. Personally, I think Peters has the right to silent protest, but the Chiefs PR staff and CHunt may see it as a slap in the face to the military. CHunt is a major GOP donor. I'm sure Andy had to sign off on this. Looks like he picked Sutton over Peters, since they were screaming at each other last year. If you're going to trade Peters, he's at his zenith in trade value right now. We'll certainly miss his ball skills, but he carries a lot of baggage. I'm just glad he went to the NFC West instead of the Raiders.

but the only way this favors the chiefs - in my opinion - is if peters blows up and gets suspended for several games next year.
