It's time to stop fearing anybody in this damn league. The Chiefs will be the new team to fear (especially after shoring up the defense a little).

Mahomes has already made a habit of outdoing Smith (setting NFL records, conquering Pittsburgh in their building, engineering a late comeback by himself, way better redzone efficiency, etc). The next step is besting Smith's destruction of the Patsies last year.

He might need 50 points, but he'll do what it takes. No matter what strategies the Cheaters use, they don't have the personnel to slow down this offense. Even rational Pat fans and analysts admit this.

I agree ALMOST entirely - Pat didn't complete that comeback by himself.

The defense definitely came up big forcing a short drive and a punt in the 4th!

I think the best defense is a ball control offense. Would expect the Patriots will try to run as much clock as possible when they have the ball.

that's crazy talk. next thing you know, you'll be telling us that the team who scores more points than the other, emerges victorious.

Ah ... thanks, Mr. Simply Red.

I didn't want to spend all day and night reviewing every Pats game.

I figured it might be the Miami one based on the score, though. I'll go Jags, though ... based on your recommendation.

Damn ... why is this so difficult?

Now I'm confused ... again ... was Mr. Simply Red saying the Jags game was their "worst" defensive performance so far? I'm looking for their "best" ... you know, for comparison purposes.

Screw it. I'm going with the Miami game. At least I know what to look for in how the handled Albert.

I'm so tired of the "shut your offense down" bullshit. In today's NFL if a team has legit offensive weapons they're going to score unless they **** up.

With these rules if your defense can make a few stops you win. New Englands defense isn't good either, they've just played a bunch of shit ass teams....

I'd love to see the rational as to why a Colts team that had a bunch of injured dudes was within 1 score starting the 4th quarter...could it be that the Pats are an average team with a QB to old to still carry them?

Brady has been wiped out on at least two huge passing plays, one of which was a TD, because he stood in the pocket knowing he would take a massive hit.

"scared to take hits" isn't quite an accurate statement there.

Brady is back to his normal self now that he's got Edelman back and Gordon on the team.

They're not. One of them ended the opponent's season, and the other one did not.
