How long can we expect Juju to be out?
Only frame of reference I have is Tua. He missed 3 weeks after his bad knockout in Cincinnati with the Dolphins purposefully holding him out an extra week out of caution.

Knowing Andy he’ll take a similar approach. I bet it’s 3 weeks for him too. I know these things are a case-by-case basis but if you were Andy would you hold him out longer than 3 weeks?

He's an extremely limited participant at this point. I can't imagine he plays this weekend if he isn't a FP on Friday.

I'd rather he sit this week. We did pretty OK against one of the better teams in the AFC with MVS, Moore, and Watson. Toney's injury should limit any play as well. Run 3 TE sets and pound the rock. Oh yeah, make SURE Watson doesn't get as many snaps as MVS. We don't need another meltdown.

What has this coaching staff ever done to give you any worry that they'd rush a player back and put him in before he's ready? If he's cleared to play and practices Friday, then he's ready and playing.

You have to be cleared to practice so he is obviously progressing. If he is ready he should play.

Andy is going to play the best player that he can. I think he's proven that since at least 2019, when he benched his longtime friend, Lesean McCoy, in his first SB ever.

He isn't going to play Wylie if Niang is 100% healthy and shows that he's the better RT in practice. It's really that simple.
So really the only questions are: is Niang healthy? And if so, is he demonstrating that he's the better option at the position?

If the answers to both questions are, "yes," then Niang will play.

I don't think it's quite as simple as that. Continuity IS a concern on the offensive line, more so than perhaps anywhere else on the field. The question to add to your questions is this one: Is the upgrade in ability worth the disruption of continuity?

Personally, I don't see how it wouldn't be much, much better to have Niang in there, continuity be damned, because, as I've very clearly opined many times-

Wylie blows goats.

But, you know, that's just me.
