Bills vs Bengals

Gonna be the decider for HFA. Worst case the Bills win and we secure the 2nd seed. Best case Bills lose and we become the 1 seed.

Bengals are a 1/2 game ahead of the Ravens for the division lead and this game could give them the 2 seed and a chance at the 1 seed if they win.

Primetime in Cincinnati. Should be good

I’m excited for the rest of the league come Tuesday to be complaining about the Chiefs backing into the one seed.

Hate to say it, but until proven otherwise he’s not wrong. They are the defending AFC champions until someone takes that crown from them.

That’s silly. One season of an average regular season followed by a fortuitous Super Bowl run doesn’t make you the big dog. Patriots were still the big dog when the Broncos went to the Super Bowl in 2016.

One lucky post season runs where 2 teams had to fold in the second half to give them wins does not a ‘big dawg’ make.

Kansas City is STILL the big dawg, as evidenced by their 4 straight years of hosting the AFC Title Game. They may be the defending AFC Champ, but you gotta do it for more than one year to be taken seriously. If they go on another post season run and get back to the Super Bowl again, then they can start talking about their AFC supremacy.

Until then, Joe,

Until then, Joe,
Here’s how I see it. KC is prime Mike Tyson. Cincinnati is Buster Douglas. Even if KC is regarded as the best and a big dog, Cincinnati is the champ until we take back our title.

They've beat us 3 times in a row.

Three.

The Browns beat the Bungles five times in a row until Bungles won the second game against them this year. Five.

Did you think the Browns were a better team then them till they finally got that win in the second half?

Sometimes shit happens (losing 3 games in a row by 3 points each time) and sometimes a team just has another teams number (see Browns vs. Bungles). Doesn’t mean they’re a better team.

I believe it does when records are close and they made it to the AFC Championship game last year. Unless you are a KC homer, I don't know how you could have the Bengals rated below the Chiefs. I mean it is close, but the edge clearly is to the Bengals. We are also unable to exploit their weakness (shitty tackles) due to our defensive line construction.

You aren't wrong. But for me we blew 3 chances to win all those games. We didn't. If they want to talk trash I'm not gonna whine about it. We had 3 chances to shut them up. We blew all 3.

Agree to disagree. Guess we’ll find out in the postseason this year.

I see a team that was 10-7 in the regular season last year and needed a couple choke jobs from the Titans and Chiefs to get to the Super Bowl and then lost to a very not elite Rams team. They put together a nice little run last year, but at this point I see it as just that.

Yes, they’ve had our number. But again, so did the Browns against them. Doesn’t make the Browns a better team. Just like the Bengals aren’t a better team than the Chiefs. I think we’ll see that proven out in the playoffs this year.

Luck eventually runs out (ask the Brownies)
