And if he claims Alex Smith is the guy that can help us, he's either desperate to get rid of that sack of shit or he's a ****ing moron who actually thinks Alex can win a Super Bowl with another team. Or both.

Sorry peeps. I guess all I'm saying is that not taking a QB in the first round for 30 years doesn't mean that taking a QB in the first round isn't necessarily a great idea.

He just needs to be worth it (and maybe Reid and company think he is...who knows).

The Niners have done it a few times......Alex Smith. Jim Druckenmiller. It doesn't always work out the way you want.

Joe Montana was a 3rd rounder. Steve Young was a trade. Kaep is a second rounder. Look...if the right guy is there in round one...you take him...no question. It just seems like people just really WANT Geno to be worth that pick.

I like the kid. I think he's first round talent. I think he'd be a good QB for Reid to get his hands on. I'm just not sure you want to take him #1 overall.
