I'm surprised as well. I'm sure they'll be strict measures put into place though. I'm guessing they will limit how many ppl can be in a gym at a given time and you'll have to keep a lot of distance from each other and wipe down the machines after using. Def could work but seems kind of risky. Then again this is all risky there's no way around it.

Supposedly just reading what I see on twitter. St. Louis thinks they haven't hit their peak yet so who knows.

I'm not saying that at all. I'm just pointing out that being exceedingly selfish isn't appropriate for this.

Mayor Lucas thinks KC's peak is late April (probably based on IHME's model)

Quote:
Lucas and Kansas City’s Health Department director, Rex Archer, stressed repeatedly in a news conference on the steps of City Hall Thursday that their May 15 extension was designed to get the city through and beyond its projected peak of coronavirus cases in late April. Reopening businesses and resuming normal life too early, they said, could result in a second wave of infections.

I'm not saying I agree with it but what you view as selfish someone else may not. There are some people that are going to argue to keep things shut down until there isn't anything left to shut down.

One's personal health, physical or mental, is NOT selfish. The gym is the drug for both.
