Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

ONE RUN, NO WIPES. Skolas DIED.

We had ONE gally.

I have carried people before and I don't care in the least as long as they are appreciative, and humble. Don't worry about what you don't know, or what you aren't good at. As long as the third person isnt stupid, and arrogant, everything should be fine. Hell, Cave carries me all the time. I don't hear him bitching.

I had to work an extra day this weekend, so I missed out on four etheric's, but I was able to buy three Spears, so not a total loss. Thing I'm most bummed about was not getting the helmet for my huntard.

I got 5 of 6 etherics, one spear, and an emblem/shader/class item for each character and now I have like 100 glimmer left. Next IB I'll be ready.

Just read that there will be no ascension for year 1 gear to year 2 stats. So etheric light is pretty useless now.

So I guess all those exotics will just be collecting dust.

Although, honestly, that's pretty much standard operating procedure for MMO expansions (and while I wouldn't ever call Destiny an MMO, I think it's heavily inspired/influenced by the genre).

I didn't read as nothing can be brought forward, but they certainly were not clear one way or the other. It sure reads as if there isn't much point playing until the expansion drops.

This news is exactly what I needed in order to create a Hunter and Warlock. I have 6 weeks to unlock the subclasses for both of them.

I'm loving all of the new info.

Yep, she's at level 9 now. I've been a triple Titan since day 1. I'll get both subclasses unlocked and then move on to the Warlock. With the new leveling system coming it'll be a lot easier to run one of each.

I've been wanting to do this for a long time, I've just been lazy.
