Obviously Self values defense over anything but man alive his bugaboo over the years has been turnovers. I'd have to look up the data but I'd bet anything we turned it over more the past decade than any other top 10 team. Leads the conf again this year. Elijah's meltdown last year vs Michigan, on and on. It's not going to be a very long run in march if you throw it away constantly. Why is this always a problem?

Number one, we don't have a real point guard. Tharpe does a great robot on the sidelines though.

^^^ LOL at more PB idiocy.
If Self's "consistent problem" is turnovers (totally the coach's fault btw) leading to short tournament runs, then why has KU made the sweet 16 6 out of 7 years (including 4 elite 8s), 2 finals fours, and a title?

Trolls are going to troll. Self has no consistent problem, that's why KU has been the best program in the country for 10 years.

Turnovers are about the most controllable thing a coach has in terms of his teams play. Gtfo if you think coaches don't impact that, fool.

A ball going through someone's hands or a guy making a stupid play is clearly the coach's fault.
But that's all I have to say, I'm not going waste my time and energy on your trolling/stupidity/overreaction.

Embiid was in tears after the game (laboring out the arena doors) going to the team bus where he was comforted by fellow players' parents.
