I'm hoping that his visit to KC was on the down-low because:

1. We made our initial offer, but offered to keep the conversation open.

2. Told him to come back around to us after his FA tour and we'd reevaluate his interest in our offer.

3. We're willing to show some flexibility based on how the free market values him.

There isn't any resigning Thuney, he'll probably be cut before his current deal even expires.

Nobody's offering him the money he thinks he deserves. He'll keep taking guided tours until someone does.

Even if that means playing for the Falcons.

Guys looking to contend don't take visits with the Titans. He's looking for the bag. And honestly, I think he's probably worth what OBJ got (who was NOT worth what he got) but I also think the team can put that money to fine use elsewhere and have the pieces in place to operate just fine without him.

Hopkins would be the 2nd best WR this franchise has had since Otis Taylor - but he's not a necessity.

I said he was never really in the plans. I didn't say that Veach never reached out or spoke to him. I'm sure they reach out to all kinds of players, but that doesn't mean they planned for that player to be on the team.

Also, I never replied to any posts in the other threads about your "statistics" this was the first thread that I remember you saying anything about the Chiefs offense wasn't really the number 1 offense.

You think Hopkins at 31 coming off the past 2 seasons would be the 2nd best WR this franchise has ever had? Better than Tyreek Hill in his prime? Hell, I'd even take Dwayne Bowe in his prime over this version of Hopkins.

I'll give you that during his prime Hopkins was better than Hill in his prime, but not by much. The things he did with Houston and for Deshaun Watson's career were pretty insane. He's not remotely close to that player now.
