Man, I hope Denver signs Cousins and pays him $30M a year. Bye bye defense, hello mediocrity.

Why wouldn’t Cousins want to play in Minnesota? They have the best defense, the most money and best overall roster.

Their overall team is way better than any of the teams betting.

No they won't.

In 2019, before the Cousins deal, they'll start off with $78 million in cap space and create another $5 million by cutting Murray.

If they give him 5 years at roughly $28 million a season with around $75 million guaranteed.....that still leaves them with close to $55 million in 2019 to spend.

Spotrac has them at $62M worth of cap space in 2019 and that's w/o adding in the 2018 draft class and any money they'll spend in FA this year.

If the Broncos sign Cousins, Talib is probably gone. Denver’s defense is slowly eroding.

I doubt they decide to keep Talib regardless of who's playing QB.

Isnt Cousins just an Alex Smith clone? Nice stats, but chokes when the stakes are high....

When I think of denver I would rather they have smith. As much as I hated him smith, cousins is the only available who could be a little better. After that serious drop off so I would just want denver to get neither. 1 down 1 to go.

No way. Anyone who says he is, hasn't watched enough of him. He's been my fantasy football QB the last two years in a row, therefore I watched him quite a bit when the Chiefs weren't playing. The guy is a gamer...fiery and fun to watch. Nothing like Smith.

I don't know who to compare him to. Arm strength is fine. He's able to extend plays. He's competitive as hell. He has EXCELLENT pocket presence. Good accuracy.

I'll be sick if the Donks get him because I really like watching Cousins play QB and don't want to root against him, which I obviously would do if he played for the Donks. I don't think he guy has reached his ceiling yet, either...the guy has a ton of potential.

Worse than Smith. He can't take care of the ball.

I believe theres some truth there, on their face, Cousins stats are miles above Smith in some respects

He will take the risky shots, he'll try to push the ball downfield, the only problem with that... is that his arm isnt quite as good as he thinks it is

The peanut gallery can guffaw all it wants, but I'll take Smith over Cousins 8 days a week... he is fools gold in a QB starved market IMO, dear God I hope Denver sells its soul for him

If the Donks get Cousins, with Carr and Rivers we have 3 skittish gunslingers in our division. If we don't pillage the countryside for a pass rush in that situation, there is no such thing as the Chiefs' brain trust.

The mantra of even the dimmest among us this year is... defense, Defense, DEFENSE

Veach is surely as good as us punters, he knows whats up... one key piece on Mahomes bodyguard detail will suffice, then lets key in on buffing up his hit squad
