I'm cynical. I own that.... I have seen too many players (not just for the Royals) who were supposed to be can't miss guys.. and have missed. Maybe we have a guy who can hit for more power than Steve Balboni here, maybe we don't.

When did I lose interest in this game? When I saw the lineup. Can't help but love seeing Dyson and Hosmer batting one-two (though I have legit. long-term hope and belief in the latter, while the former should be DFA).

I've decided to stop paying attention to the Royals until the NHL Finals are over. I have one pro team that I'm a fan of that is worth a shit, so I'm going to enjoy watching them.

The Jayhawks/Devils have made being a Chiefs/Royals fan easier.
