Clear up 25 million and lets bolster this roster and prepare to make a run at a ****ing title.

I'm tired of waiting.

I want to see us win playoff games and have a realistic shot at winning it all.

We have 3 probowl defenders that are either 30 or are approaching 30. We have a 30 year old quarterback. We have a high quality receiver that's approaching the end of his prime.

Lets worry about 2016 when we get there...when the cap will have another 20+ million in it more than 2014.
My solution allows you to do both. Don't restructure old guys. Give new free agents a huge signing bonus and a big kicker in 2016. That allows the chiefs to sign big names today on a pretty much backloaded contract and the free agent would like it because year 2016 is basically guaranteed.

They've already eaten it. They will take a cap hit of whatever dead money they have left.

Future base salaries and roster bbonuses go away for the Dolphins .

Basically it would mean he has a 3 year, 7 million dollar deal left...interesting.

I wonder if Miami would be interested in that trade...

Luckily, the Cowboys are cap strapped.

Hopefully the STUPID ass Raiders won't drive up the market value of certain positions.

They have a TON of cap space, which, along with the cap increases, is very scary in terms of them, handing out STUPID ****ing contracts and driving up the market value of whatever positions they sign.
They have done the shit before.

Cowboys will still have to release Ware. Any interest? Probably the Eagles.

Absolutely not. We need to find a guy who will eventually replace Hali. Ware and Hali are the same age.

His question goes to how trading for Jordan would affect the team's cap.

His signing bonus was pro-rated over the length of his contract.
Should the trade him, the remainder of that bonus accelerates to their cap in 2014.

Possibly, but this is Reggie McKenzie's first year where he's had a decent amount of cap room to work with. Al is dead, and as far as I know the son isn't being an idiot like his father and getting involved in the business. Things might be different.

Or they might stay the same. The Raiders could probably hire John Schneider for the next 5 years and it's doubtful their organization would change all that much.

WR and OL is taking up 41.7% of the #Eagles' salary cap. The entire defense takes up 36.9%.

I think they still have Foles on the rookie contract. He will likely get a huge payday whenever it's up..

Yup. We're saying the same thing even if I didn't explain it in the clearest way.

Steve Gregory was released by the Pats. Graded out as a top 25 Safety at 31 years old. Bandaid for us?

Wouldn't surprise me of the Eagles were the next super-competitive team because they can stack the roster around a franchise QB they're paying pennies on the dollar for.

This is encouraging:

God willing we can actually have back to back years of filling holes in free agency before the draft. When #23 rolls around, it would be really nice to not have to factor in need nearly as much.

And I'm just really hoping we go after a pass catcher in round one.
