Nate Taylor: Chiefs expected to franchise OBJ again [not happening]

First of all, I don't want OBJ back necessarily. That's not what I'm saying. He's going to sign a deal with the Chiefs. And it's going to be at an amount that pisses you off.

And in the end, you'll find out that Veach was fully aware of the cap implications and we didn't have a mass exodus because of it.

We're going to bring in WR's, it's going to happen. And it will happen just as much with an OBJ contract as without.

You guys either trust Veach or you don't. And it's obvious you don't.

Do you understand how the cap works? You act like there is only $20 million available and Veach is choosing OBJ over Bolton/Sneed. Everything is a working part.

There's a significant chance Veach and OBJ don't come to terms though. They weren't close on any aspect the last time at the table.

I believe if OBJ was going to be signed to a long term deal it would have happened last year. now he will want more money than he asked for even last season.
