At this point if those guys have fallen this far, it's very likely they'll still be around when we pick in the 6th round.

It boggles my mind that Christian Jones is still available, but the NFL has clearly put out a general collective red flag on him. Because he's a pot smoker? I don't know. But wow, is he ever falling.

Marquis Sprull just went ahead of him to the Falcons for ****'s sake. I don't know who Marquis Sprull is, but I'm going to wager that he's not as talented as Christian Jones.

I feel like we're about to absolutely rape the 6th round and just drop the mic on the NFL. We pick 17th and 24th, and Christian Jones, Dion Bailey, James Morris, Antonio Richardson, Rashaad Reynolds, and Marcus Roberson are still available. This is crazy.

Dude, I know he's a backup.

But for ****'s sake, the Chiefs drafted a ****ing QB.

From 1998-2013 we've drafted three QBs TOTAL.

That shit is clearly done. We might not be going after definitive future starters, but we're at least taking chances and rolling the dice a bit on QBs. For ****ing finally.

Also, Buttchin has got to be on his way out the door. It's inexcusable to keep him and his salary around for another season.

Is Murray healthy to play now or will he need time? When did he sprain his ACL?

IMO, the most successful teams tend to draft a QB every year. QBs are the best trade bait you could ever have in this league.

As ambivalent as I was about the first two picks, I'm okay with the last two. A playmaker who will probably contribute immediately and a developmental QB.

Developmental QB in particular I like, because it gives the possibility of a trade down the road so we can be one of the teams with 11 picks on some future draft day instead of 6.

Which reminds me. Next year could be interesting with the comp picks. Gives some flexibility to move around the other picks.

good pick…good value in 5th round…..and is a better QB than McCarron. Other than only being 6'1" he is a great QB. Tore ACL but is ALREADY healed! healed in less than 6 months (thats impressive) I like this pick.
