Pats Cheating Comfirmed

According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

So, Patriots cheating is not, in fact, confirmed, according to the NFL.
Love the Starbucks helmet. They should have an NFL team but it would have to be in Seattle where it started.

Can we all at least agree that, no matter the outcome of this, it completely obliterates the argument of the dumbasses who have the thread claiming the whole thing is fixed?

Just to be a dick, I'll add another wrinkle to all this. Let's ignore the temperature difference between the locker room and outside. Let's just look at the temperature of the air coming out of an electric pump. I think it's safe to assume they didn't use a hand pump. The air to inflate the first ball and possibly even the next will be close to room temperature. All balls subsequently inflated will have air that is forced past a hot motor. This can result in air temps of 100+.

Yet another reason this whole "scandal" is ridiculous.

The Peter King video does show the officials using an electric pump. That's not a video of this specific situation, but it is, supposedly, S.O.P..

Im inflating a giant ball pit right now and the air from our little compressor is cool.

It's been running for like 10 minutes.

But I mean, it is a little compressor, and I am 5000 feet in the air.

Here's the other thing. It's reaching, but it's something I've been thinking about.

I've pumped up my share of footballs, using an electric pump. Now, i assume the NFL teams have pumps a little moe high tech than the local high school, but in my experience, those guages aren't the most accurate or clear to read.

Of course, it depends on the pump. I have one that plugs into my 12V car outlet and after a minute that little ****er will burn your skin off.

Could be, but this doesn't play well with the 'I hate the Patriots, so there must be some level of impropriety involved'.

Now I don't have a whole lot of confidence in the NFL, but they must have better compressors. For sure Kraft does.

The pats would've beat the colts with a basketball or a hockey puck or whatever, in that game.

Whats more, several former QB's have come forward to say that tinkering with game balls is as common as dirt... this was all set in motion by the crybaby loser Ravens telling the Colts to be on the lookout for this nefarious practice.

In other words, any little thing they can use to throw some mud on a team they, and many other people, hate... its ****ing reeruned, if Brady was a Chief this whole site would be laughing this off and defending our HOF QB.
