The Ponder pick was bad. But it was remotely understandable.

The Solder pick is a perfect storm of insanity. It shows a complete lack of knowledge from someone who's responsibility was to study the Rams and be an expert on their behalf, as well as zero knowledge of the first three picks in 2009 and the draft of 2010.

The Dolphins biggest need is at QB. Unfortunately, 3 QBs are already off the board. They also need an OG or a C, but none of them are worth #15 overall. The Dolphins are really in a tough spot because their needs don't match the value available at this pick. I hate taking a RB early because I feel you can find good ones late. However, with Ronnie Brown being a disappointment, a free agent, and unlikely to return to Miami and Ricky Williams being a senior citizen..

Which... if you're going to make the commitment to the draft that's not too much to expect. Not only that, but there are plenty of opportunities to e-mail your picks to others who can keep this thing going.

I definitely think it should be cut down to 12 hours. People should be able to either check in or PM someone to make their pick in a 12 hour period.

It pisses me off a little bit that we weren't even halfway through the 1st round and someone tried to pick someone that already got drafted. Not only that....but, like you said, the dude showed a complete lack of knowledge and made a ****ing stupid pick with no research involved. Give me his team.....he's to stupid to run it.
