This so much. It's those who are Bengals fans or wanted KC to lose who felt the game was swayed in favor of KC. Looking at the their complaints this is what I see

1. Do over on the no play, the play never should have happened and watching the replay it was clear the ref tried to stop it. This would have happened regardless of an incomplete or TD. Had KC gotten a TD on that play, those same "rigged" fans would have agreed with the do over. Since the play benefitted KC, it's "rigged"

2. Missed block in the back on the Moore punt return. Perhaps it was a call missed, or a flop. Those happen. No chance the refs missed it to favor KC as there was no way to know that KC would be able to get into FG range.

3. Missed holds. On the final Mahomes scramble, opposing fans saw two holds. Geoff Schwartz outright said they weren't holds as well as HOFer Joe Thomas. Plus this mindset that KC held all game while ignoring all the holds that Cincy got away with is just bias and nothing more. Ignored are the holds that did get called against KC such as the one that took the Pacheco TD run away. Even that hold was a weak one. For a ref crew who wanted KC to win they could have easily missed that.

4. The RTP on Mahomes at the end was the right call 10/10 times. He had both feet OOB when he was pushed. How hard he was pushed is irrelevant. The same people opposed to that call would have been up in arms had it happened to Burrow and not been called. They don't disagree with the call as much as they didn't want KC to benefit from a correct call.

It's funny that the game is "rigged" and the refs showed favoritism, yet these opposing fans would have been content with the right call not being made if it hurts the Chiefs. They are fine with it being rigged if it hurts KC.

That's why when you ask which calls were blatantly bad or show bias they struggle to find any besides the debunked ones. People are tired of KC and can't accept this is a good team, so they have to invent a narrative to justify their dislike of this team.

Watched one of the late Cincy games this year, and the crowd didn't even seem to know the rules to the game. They seemed upset at everything. I didn't want to make a judgment on them based on that game, but dang, the internet whining has sort of confirmed who dey are.

Don't see any of them complaining about the blown calls in the first half that kept them in the game...

Of course not. Those weren't missed calls. Only the ones that supposedly benefit KC count.

Fun fact Mr. Turtle (by the way the prayers worked. You can swap out the old avatar): That game was played at Arrowhead Stadium, which is a very loud stadium. I suppose they could go back to letting refs flag the crowd for being too loud, John Elway style, if you're real upset about it. When the Chiefs win, that's usually when rule changes like that get proposed and adopted.

You absolutely can bet on the WWE, friend. Is your position that no money gets bet on WWE or other known outcomes even including who will win the next Survivor? With Survivor, by the time the candidates are announced, the contest has actually already ended sir. It takes a long time to edit those things. Big money gets bet on even that. Those are prop bets sir and there is a whole class of serious bettors that live off props. Yes you can bet the WWE. I hope that was your point?

They were absolutely convinced of it. Almost everybody in the NFL world was.

That's why this is happening. They're still in shock that they were so ****ing wrong about everything.

Are you telling me that legitimate sportsbooks take bets on professional wrestling?

ETA - If so, please show me a link. I'll be happy to admit that I'm wrong.

In my personal experience, yes.

This was the worst week leading up to a game I can ever remember. All the shit talking and lack of respect all week, talking about the Super Bowl potential matchups as if the game was already over.

Yeah, Pats fans can be condescending but they've been humbled recently. I've never found Bronco fans to be particularly hostile but again, that's my own experience.

At least the other fans I've interacted with in the past knew something about football. Most the Natti fans I saw last week didn't know anything about the NFL other than Joe Burrow is a god.
