You're a Chiefs football reerun if...

....you want to move Branden Albert from left tackle.

....you want to draft a right tackle with the third overall pick.

....you want to draft Michael Crabtree with the third overall pick.

....you want to draft Aaron Curry with the third overall pick.

....you think Tyler Thigpen should be given a chance to "compete."

....you have anything positive to say about Carl Peterson, Herm Edwards or Gunther Cunningham.

Did I miss anything? Add to the list.

I argued that I didn't want this team to draft Tamba Hali...It looks like I was right about that, it's not like I'm glad the Chiefs made a bad move with that.

If I wanted them to suck I wouldn't bother even arguing I'd just go yea ok take the shit guy be my guest.

it's not so much wanting them to suck, it's setting them up to suck.

ie..you are convinced on who the chiefs should draft, and when they don't.viola...! built in excuse to complain about how they screwed up before they even hit the field...discredit one player on a team sport based on speculation motivated by a personal wishlist...playing up his downsides while...

...saying sanchez has more upside... again nothing but pure speculation...way too many mitgating factors involved.

And when have you known me to do that?

I've eaten crow every time I've missed.

If I've said it once, I've said it a million times: I hope I'm 100% wrong on Cassel, and will eat a double serving of crow the day after he wins us a championship.

thats not really fair OTW much more goes into winning a championship than qb play, would you eat the same crow if he's a multiple time all pro?

A championship is the goal, correct?

And the QB is the most important position on the field, and has the most impact in the outcome of the game, correct?

This is a weak excuse for people who aren't as confident in the kid as they claim they are.

FWIW, yes, I'd feel the same way about Stafford or Sanchez.

my statement was general..feeling guilty?

you hope you're wrong about Cassel, that's cool,..yet you only hope you're right with Sanchez...you are only giving one player the benefit of the doubt when you've claimed they are both unproven.

I know this goes without saying. but the same dish applies to sanchez.

No argument, and I've said as much.

As I've said before, all factors included, I'll take my chances with the unproven guy that is 4-5 years younger and IMO has more potential.

And FWIW, hoping I'm wrong about Cassel, and hoping I'm right about Sanchez would mean I want the best for the Chiefs, correct?

So now you change the argument from an All-Pro QB, to a HOF'er?

Sure, if Matt Cassel becomes a HOF'er, I'd eat crow.

one more thing(and i'm not trying to be difficult with you) physical upside: with stafford i can see the arm, sanchez though, what in your opinion does sanchez have on cassel physically?(and i know you said upside but the physical attributes has to do with upside right? if i'm taking that wrong sorry)

not changing the argument. just asking if in your mind these three would have to win a super bowlsto be a success for the chiefs. that, IMO, is a very unfair burden to put on the QB alone. thats why i threw marino out there, i'm sure there are other VERY good qb's that never won a super bowl for wahtever reason, yet were very valuable to their team
