Now the real truth is coming out

CharlesRobinsonCharles Robinson
Todd Haley was never 100-percent on Tyson Jackson pick. He wanted best player available, not a system D-end. & he wasn't good at hiding it.

On the Matt Cassel issues, Weis didn't think he could cut it. He argued with Haley over Cassel's development.

If no upgrade is made at QB for '12 I think Mallett is worth a look. Great arm. Knock has been "between the ears". If '12 comes down to Casel Vs Mallett I would take Mallett.

I liked this Parkins guy until he said he'd start Orton over Stanzi on Sunday...

No.

We already have a backup Patriots QB as our starter.

If we are gonna upgrade the qb position it should be with RGIII, Barkley, or even Luck.

If a new coach comes in and him and Pioli agree that they are a qb away from having a contender for years with all this young talent, I'd be ok with going for Luck.

Well, all this talk about whether Haley sucks or not....the fact of the matter is that Pioli in fact did fail in his gamble with Cassel. This press conference is about the termination of Todd Haley's contract, but really should be about the fact that we have wasted 3 years because of Pioli's bad bet and now must start over.
Bingo.

Yeah, let's run down another team's QB depth chart like we did with San Fran in the 90's.

That worked out well didn't it?

You are not Clark Hunt. That actually might be unfortunate. I'm beginning to think this is the only solution, as far-fetched as it may be:

Another reason I'm disappointed he's gone.

I'll take almost any Pioli puppet over Joshy boy. Some people have pointed at Haley's sideline behavior and appearance as in contrast with the way Pioli and Hunt dress and behave. We have seen Josh's sideline behaviour. When Pioli hires McDaniels that theory is flushed.

But does it really matter what "we" think about Cassel? Isn't what only matters what Hunt and Pioli think about Cassel?
