Great game for the Royals. Only downer was Gordon at the plate. Looks like he's trying too hard.

Finish them off tomorrow, Royals. Maybe hit Pujols once for good measure.

True, but they have all, seemingly, played well. If Quintero does nothing but help out defensively until Sal returns, he's doing his job.

Looks like Ned plans to have Pena catch Chen and Mendoza, and have Quintero catch Hoch, Sanchez, and Duffy.

Hosmer just destroyed that HR. Up and out. I love his swing in a way that sexually confuses me. Incredible.

Moose and Gordon are concerning so far. Way too many strikeouts overall, actually. I know that Moose homered today, but it was a 328 foot cheapie over a 3' high fence. Basically, it was a lazy fly ball. I'm hoping that it gave him some confidence. He seems like a guy who is going to be prone to super hot and cold streaks based on what's going on between his ears.

Hopefully part of the early struggles are due in part to above-average starting pitching. Although Haren didn't really fool anyone else, but I'm just going to throw yesterday out due to Weaver's dominance.

I am very, very slightly worried about Moose too. He's going to figure it out, but it would be nice if he does it quicker than Gordon.

Hey al, will you copy this post into tomorrow's game thread? I know Deez has to know this.

Look for me on TV tomorrow. I made a sign and I hope like hell they let me take it inside.

It's a Beverly Hillbillies reference. Some of you won't understand it.
