Dorsett runs a 4.33 compared to Conleys 4.35 and gives up 4 inches and 28 pounds to him... I'd rather have Conley 8 days a week, didn't want another smurf receiver, cant put a bunch of midgets out there.

Are you ****ing kidding me? A poor man's Phillip Dorsett?

Conley is basically the same speed but 4 inches taller and 30 lbs heavier. Dorsett isn't even close to the redzone catcher Conley is. Not even close.

JFC there are some dumb mother****ers posting. Chris Conley was a fantastic pick.

It was such a good pick that it competes with our 1st round pick for our best pick overall.

Yeah, I just don't see how anyone could be upset by this pick.

Oh no, a faster Dwayne Bowe who catches with his hands. WHAT A TERRIBLE THIRD ROUND PICK!!!

I don't expect a ton out of him this year but I don't expect a ton out of any 3rd round pick in the year they were drafted. Coach him up, teach him the playbook and he has as much potential as anyone apart from the top 3 WRs taken.

He's a little bit stiff in his hips, so not quite the 'protype' X (that's still DeVante Parker). He's agile for a big guy, but not compared to some of the more lithe options out there.

Y'know what? **** it, I changed my mind.

Send the guy on a go-route every 3rd play and tell Smith that at least once per game he's to just throw the damn thing as far as he can for Conley to go up for it. Do it on 3rd down when an interception isn't much worse than a punt.

The guy's vertical and broad jump ability show just an insane amount of explosion in his legs, so does his 10 yard split. With his catch-technique, arm length and ability to track the ball, the guy really could be a plus deep-ball option as soon as this season.

"Blah blah, Alex won't throw deep, blah" - this kid is the perfect remedy for that. Moreover, with Maclin drawing the safety shade and teams likely needed to be cognizant of Kelce at all times, they would have little choice but to leave CBs on an island against Conley quite a bit.

He'll drop a few, but he'll scare the absolute piss out of teams. Maybe he works, maybe he doesn't but people that are shitting on this pick are just insanely ignorant. He's a fantastic pick.

I think it was Mayock who compared him to Matthews from Philly.

If that works out consider this: we just got Philly's two starting WR's from last year.

We signed Maclin and drafted a Matthews(like player) to compliment him.

That's a HUGE improvement over last year...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

The only thing that worries me about Conley is his ability to stay healthy. He isn't very compact and his limbs kinda flail around a bit when he gets tackled. He's rarely the guy doing the hitting. That's not his game so subsequently, it felt like every time i watched him get tackled it could've been a play where get got injured. He leaves the ground a lot.

I would not be surprised if Conley runs just as fast, if not faster, in pads...Regardless, when you run 4.3's, you're FAST!
