Man, I'm just freaking floored... woke up to the news of Watkins, and a couple hours later here comes Hitchens

A receiver going 6'1 210 who runs about a half step behind Reek, and a 3 down STUD ILB to toughen up the middle... and Veach is still gunning for a corner AND a nose?

Holy balls, if he pulls all that off, the draft becomes a piece of cake... and this team becomes one that goes deep in the postseason

Probably because with Sean Lee, Hitchens usually sat in long yardage situations. So with Dallas most of the games he was used as a 2 down LB.

I love the signing but until we improve our DL to some extent Reggie and Anthony will be somewhat limited. You can't have offensive linemen getting to the 2nd level continuously and expect these guys to make plays. You know how this game is played

Jaylon Smith IMHO won't 'be all that' either. They will regret not signing Hitchens for sure.

I'm not done with Dee Ford yet, man. I have't given up on the Dee Ford first step dream.

He needs to stay healthy. I'm confident in his ability and if he can stay healthy then this defense will look a lot better in '18.

Defense looks much better with Ford out there, even if he isn’t racking up sacks.

I never get excited over free agents. They are almost always overpayed compared for their production.

Who cares what they are paid as long as the cap is right?

Any idea what we paid Priest Holmes? Marcus Allen? Joe Montana?

Me either.

"He'll be very difficult to replace. If you gave me the choice between keeping him or Dez, I'd take Hitch."
