#5 in the league in hurries tells me the DL was ALMOST getting there. Improving coverage and making the QB take an extra second to go to 2nd/3rd read could change sack #'s/TO/3 and outs significantly.

If Bradberry is cut then it's a no brainer to sign him on a modest deal if possible. He'd automatically be one of our top three corners plus the most experienced so it would make sense to do it and let the younger db's learn from him too.

Yeah, people focus way too much on the sack total. The DL got decent pressure, especially in the 2nd half of the season. Everybody shifted from "Hot damn, our D is dominant now!" to "My God, we need a complete overhaul!" in the span of a few weeks. There's never a middle ground.

The defense should be pretty solid as is, especially if they bring Ingram back. Another piece or two would be nice, but how much can they afford?

If they want to get greedy, find a #1 caliber WR. I think that would be the best path toward dominance. There's a possibility that Kelce will be our only consistently reliable weapon.

This is where I'm at with it. I want Fenton rotating in as the 4th CB, with Williams as depth/ST for a year.

I like Fenton's upside and attitude, but I think he is very grabby and thus more prone to penalties.

That Buffalo game should be all we need to realize our secondary needed big time help. The pass rush wasn't the biggest issue. If guys aren't running wide open and free down the seam they probably sack Allen and game over.

That is not to say we have an elite DL, we don't, and needed help there too. However, we had Sorenson, Baker, Hughes and Watts in there once Ty was out. You have to think that at least some of these additions will put up better results than some of the worst rated d backs/safety play in the league last year.
