This might be one of the oddest games to try and pick a side and I'm not sure yet who to root for.

On one hand we have gotten beat 3 times by the Bengals and I would like a game again at Arrowhead to finally get the monkey off our back.

On the other hand the Bills are not playing great football right now but on a neutral field with turf they are fast. They also want revenge from us knocking them out last year.

So make your best case on who I should root for.

Allen really hasn’t played well since October. The Bengals, banged up OL or not, can take advantage of their declining defense (Skylar Thompson was burning them but the WRs had awful drops) as they were doing so in the MNF matchup before the Hamlin thing. They really adjusted well against the Ravens I thought with the quick passes, etc. If they don’t turn the ball over a bunch of times they’ll beat the Bills.

If we play the bills in the AFCCG. It’s a race to 40.

Our trash defense won’t stop them. Team that makes the biggest mistake loses.

what i'm getting at, is that they scored MORE there last year

our defense is a lot better than you think

and a lot better than it was that day as ALL the rookies have gotten demonstrably better, and we added brandon williams

hell, we didn't have willie gay in that game

I've not watched that many complete Bills games... But yeah, Allen has mixed in a lot of great throws with a bunch of garbage crap.

The thing is, he has occasionally put together some great drives. So no, I don't particularly expect him to catch lighting in a bottle and have an elite game.

But it is sort of like playing against a three point shooting basketball team that is capable of getting hot.

If Josh happens to not make any dumb mistakes, they could be a tough out.

Or he could almost lose to a crappy Phins team

This game will come down to if the Bills leaky defense that has been saved by facing poor to average QB play and WR drops can hold up against Burrow and his great weapons. The Bengals will adjust with their OL injuries. People are making too big of a deal about that. And I trust Burrow (who is playing better than Allen) to make less mistakes than the turnover machine Allen. But we’ll find out for sure Sunday. I think the Bengals win by double digits, though.

Also, I'd rather not play Josh Allen. He's been bad by his standards for most of the season, but we're not equipped to stop him if he clicks in. Few teams are.

I'd rather play the Bills. Can't stand the Bengals but they've had our number, I just want them out. Bills I think we beat and I'd hate losing to them less.
