I get that though. Neither scenario is ideal. Just my opinion.

Heh - I've had to do that on a bunch of big games.

Biggest one was we got a ride home to KC from NMSU in Kirksville MO in 1988. Well the kid who gave us a ride decided he wanted to drive back at halftime of the KU vs. OK NCAA basketball championship game on Monday night. We spent the whole drive trying to find the game on AM radio stations. But somehow hearing Manning sink those freethrows on the radio made it that much more exciting.

Let’s hope the Pats and Steelers beat the shit out of each other. Tom’s achilles is tender and Bell’s noggin’ is ripe for another concussion. Steelers have played two physical opponents in Cincy and Baltimore in consecutive weeks. They will be hurting. Miami smacked New England in the mouth so they too might have a bit of doubt.

Good time for KC to be finding their stride again....

Dude - we're talking about (until recently) MVP candidate Alex Smith - rallying and taking the Chiefs to a Superbowl win. Which will not happen, but if it does. I could see a team shelling out.

Unlike 2013, 2015 and 2016 - I don't think the Chiefs have any realistic shot at the SB this year. So I'm just hoping for a home playoff win.

Guy wears Chief's jersey to Christmas dinner at his girlfriend's house in San Diego. Her brother, Phillip Rivers, attempts to pass the mashed potatoes to his Mom, but they are intercepted.

They played pretty well, defense held and put pressure on rivers. Could have put up more points, but 30-13 is pretty dominate

BTW, having now looked at it, Baltimore is probably going to be the #5 seed. They should win the last three and Tenn could lose 1 or 2 games.

Now Chiefs probably still win that 4/5 game and lose to Pitt/NE but that isn't the pushover that Tenn would be.

Yes. This was reported 3 weeks ago.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Matt Nagy on 3rd and 0.5 called for a pass play to Cam Erving in that Jets game.

This team has a higher ceiling than 2013. Get us in the playoffs who knows what can happen

2013 was doomed

Nah, I don't see it happening that way. No team is that stupid enough to trade him (maybe Cleveland, but I doubt they'll want him.) Winning the SB or not, Alex is more than likely getting traded for a 2nd rounder and a late rounder (because of one year left on contract, not enough value) or getting cut.

The reason he will not be here next year is because of that $18 million contract, and there are some players that the Chiefs will need to use that $18 million on. Here are the following players who's contract expires after the end of this season:

Albert Wilson (obviously needs kept)
Zach Fulton (see above)
Anthony Sherman (debatable)
Benny Logan (Who I don't care much for, let him walk)
Dustin Colquitt (Love the guy, but not going to be paying $5 million for a punter)
Tyler Bray (LOL, release him already)
Phillip Gaines (LOL)
DeAnthony Thomas (eeeehhhhh, let him walk)

There are more but, you get the idea.

Are you new to football? Defense gave up 13 points. That's a great game.
