It's becoming somewhat of a disturbing pattern. Happened a bit last season too. Execution hasn't been there late in games.

That was pretty heavily slanted against KU.

The only two penalties against KSU were the PI and the Roughing.

The phantom hold, missed offensive hold, and incomplete pass being ruled complete were all critical calls and benefitted KSU.

I think QB play covers up late game execution more often than not

Of course. This team is almost certainly looking at 9-10 wins right now if Daniels was healthy. Their talent was right there with anybody in the conference outside of Texas from what we've seen.

No he's not. Bean is a 5th year senior with better athleticism, a rocket arm, and elite speed. However his issue has always been making boneheaded plays to choke away games.

And I didn't even mention the Oklahoma game. Luckily for him, OU made a bunch of idiotic decisions at the end to give Bean chance after chance and Jason finally did. I thought that game might have been a turning point for him. And I agree that had he played, KU would have won tonight. But Bean is not some great QB
And who knows, Ballard might end up being a good college QB.

Too many mistakes - muffed punt return, stupid ints, officiating kept ksu from getting blown out - too many examples to name. Freshman walk on qb and coaching staff afraid to throw in early downs

And to top it all off that catch they gave to ksu at the end was bobbled. These refs were bad.
Of course, if KU didn't make those mistakes it might not have mattered
