Playing them next year with somebody better than a freshman walk-on QB who can't throw will help.

I mean, yeah, KU shot themselves in the foot too many times. And if they didn't do that then they probably win.

But the officiating sure seemed to help KSU way more than KU. KSU didn't even get called for a penalty until under a minute in the 1st half. And not a single one was called in them in the 2nd half other than the obvious kick out of bounds.

Why can't it be both?

In reality K-State needs more speed on both Offense and Defense to be elite. Plenty big and strong but need more speed. Howard can’t really run their offense right since he gets forever hurt when he carries the ball too much. Still enough to spank KU but they’re limited.

Well, it is better than bowl game your team is playing.

And yeah, we feel pretty good about our program. Down to our 3rd string, walk on QB and went blow for blow with KSU.

They won by only 4 points in a game where KU made at least 5 colossal ****-ups. Yeah, I'd say they need more.

I’m afraid you’re right it’s going to be ugly. WSU is only 7 players deep and the coach hasn’t gotten his guys or even put in his complete system. They’re in big time transition as a program. That said KU can throw all the money they want at Football but a 100 years of being losers is a tough climb. Plus a bird with stupid shoes on your helmet makes you look like a pussy.

I think the big story was that near pick six by Howard.

Had that KU player made the play and house it; I believe the game would most definitely have ended differently in favor of KU.
