so it's not official, both clubs view it at as it's effectively done. I do not know the other team. KC and JAX are 2 teams that make sense

Geno smith is WAY in the minority.
Even the save our chiefs supporters would rather have Alex smith, and its not even close.

This fan base is the second worst to the raiders.


Besides, the staff doesn't give a shit what the fans want.

I bet Reid can outlast Harbaugh, though, and get him for a pretty good deal. Not the 3rd + late rounder that we were hearing.

No idea whether the media is whorin' stories or whether rumors Alex Smith is being courted by the Chiefs' staff are true. But, when you read it a few times from different sources, gotta be something to it.

Getting a veteran QB on the roster (not named matt) is a given, rarely do NFL teams ride with all young players at the QB position. He's better than say, Jason Campbell or Leinart.

Not sure what all the options are. But I think it's a good idea. I still believe they will take Geno regardless of Brandon Albert's decision. Imo they should, anyway. Don't know what they are thinking, but I bet they want new QB's on this roster so they can move on.
