According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

I had two new reports in that one post I deleted without having read the latest posts. Amnorix had a new report, so it was covered and should answer your question. The lead ref says they don't even mark the psi of the balls.

Just one ball was under inflated and it was only the intercepted ball by the Colts. Also, kind of odd that it was the opposing team, a long term rival, to report it to NFL officials in the booth instead of to the refs, particularly when the refs never detected a darn thing wrong with any of the balls.

All the other balls were merely a tick under which can be explained by weather. If you recall, these were reported as being under much more.

RIGHT AFTER THE GAME the actual ref tweeted that the balls were under inflated.

Time passes and the league tries it's best to make everything seem on the up and up by covering up everything so their champion doesn't have a tarnished trophy.

Again

Then, they hand out some serious penalties (this will happen) and everything will be forgotten.

Must be nice to have the commissioner be a fan of the team and owner.
