OK. That's one I've never heard of. Does this happen with anything else for you, or is it exclusive to crackers and tomato soup? |

I can stare at it telling myself that its soup and not cereal, but it still happens. I think its the motion of trying to collect a few oyster crackers like I'm eating Cocoa Puffs and the muscle memory flashes me back to breakfast as a kid. I can crumble saltines into it and be fine.

Ok. I have lots of homemade veggie broth in my freezer. I usually like to try a recipe as written first before I play with it.

Eureka!!
Looking for stew meat in freezer, found a pocket of individually vacuum sealed; gyro spiced lamb hand made pita kalamata olive imported feta tzatziki knew I had the pita and feta, had forgotten the others. Get some romaine and red onion for the weekend!!! Profit.

You freeze a yogurt based dish like tzatziki? How'd the texture come out with that?

Just fine, you just have to whip it up when it thaws.

Never done this before, so I'm trying Cook's Illustrated's recipe from the most recent edition. Also found some unstuffed enchiladas on their website we'll try alongside: http://www.cooksillustrated.com/reci...ded-enchiladas

Not for tonight, but since the Royals kicked ass it's 1/2 price pizza from Papa John's tomorrow. Their Chicken Cordon Blue looks good and it's $8.50 for a large.
This is the list of ingredients: Chicken (white meat) Spinach Alfredo Sauce Fresh Onions Canadian Bacon Mozz Parm Asiago Romano Provolone Fontina Sounds good. I've never eaten PJ pizza. |
