I think Kerr realized pretty quickly that Payton wouldn't work in that lineup. Was kind of a bizarre decision to start him and put two-non shooters out there. You either need four shooters or Looney's OREBs.

D-LO is doing his best to keep GS in this.

Just not shooting well at all. Lakers look better than GSW and by a fair bit, but they're just missing open looks (yes, even without James on the floor).

GS's completely unwillingness to take contact is just kinda funny when they're playing alongside LA. I mean they'll take the most awkward and contorted jumpers (and often miss) when simply playing into the contact would get them the foul and probably a better look.

It's just weird.

Welp - Curry's decided that he's just gonna have to take control of this game.

We'll see how long he can keep them in it. He's looked pretty damn good for the last few minutes. You're pretty much seeing the entire arsenal down the stretch of this 2nd quarter.

Yeah, that's a charge all day, isn't it? It wasn't even a cheapy where he slid under Curry after he'd committed - that's just a straight up charge.
