I get how ridiculous it is but it's also a testament to the fact that we know these guys can play better on offense. If we're being honest both the fact that we know the Chiefs are inevitable and will find a way and the fact that the Chiefs are not playing well (either because of Andy losing his mind with the playcalling or Mahomes just being off on throws he used to make) can both be true.

I have zero worries about this team right now. They have ALWAYS kicked it up a gear in the post-season. And I have a lot of faith that the coaches know who to play and how to play them. But the execution on offense is off and even when Mahomes had time today he was still off. Maybe it's unrealistic to expect him to change the way he plays/feels out there in just one game and it was massively encouraging to see the O-Line not give up a sack today.

We'll be fine, but all the concern - while a bit goofy around a 13-1 team that holds opponents typically under 20 points per game - only shows the level of greatness we want for this team.

I just can't wrap my head around how our three-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback suddenly looks like Damon Huard. It is frankly horrifying.

I don’t disagree we weren’t losing but the fact is our terrible offensive performance led to Mahomes being in a game he should have been resting in after the third quarter.

Of course not. But when you see your O line getting consistently beat and picking the franchise player off the turf every snap, maybe handing the ball off a little might help. Andy should know better.

Pat just sucks this year. Doesn't mean he won't turn it around, but last year it was the drops. This year, it's him. Today he had some great pockets at times and he was still awful.
The regression for Mahomes started last year actually, but all of the WR drops gave everyone much more focus/concern. I am 100% sure Nagy is to blame, the playcalling has been horrible, I don't think any current NFL QB would flourish with these playcalls. Today was about the worst of the playcalls though, given the ball back 6 times by the defense and can only win by 14?!?

The post I quoted was complaining about the lack of points after 6 turn overs.

Allen made that drive with two great throws. Not going to hit those all the time. Lions just have to keep up their game script and the Bills won’t stop them much.

Nagy is brutal.

If you watch any footage of him at camp or practice it’s very obvious his role is pretty much Mahomes’ personal cheerleader.

I think Pat misses someone like EB who would keep him focused and hold him accountable.

I’ve got a feeling that the staff right now is stacked full of his buddies and I’m not sure that’s the best thing for him as a player.

What everyone seems to be missing when discussing Mahomes is how Kelce’s big play threat has disappeared this year. Mahomes still has the magic improv ability, but he’s not same QB without a game breaking Kelce.

There is a pretty big difference in what you typed here and “OMGZWTFBBQ!!!111 THE SKY IS FALLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!!”.

You are addressing certain things in a calm and reasonable manner, while some of these other drama queens just bitch and moan incessantly.

I think it is quite obvious that the o-line has… not broken him, but screwed him up. Consistent line play would start to bring him back around.
