I actually don't hate your posts as much as some here do, but this excuse for making the mistake about Smith being a FA is weak at best.

When I was there, Dante Robinson was covering the slot in the nickel and Dexter worked out of the slot exclusively.

I'd bet money it was Robinson and I can't say this clear enough...

The guy can't cover anyone and will be a complete liability this year.

Expect it.

Dunta Robinson is basically the only CB Dex has ever had any success against.

You really think I thought he was released? Seriously? Come on dude. The point I responded to was about Winston and how once he was available to tthe league he got no calls and that's supposed to mean he's not as good as some were saying. He used that one instance to justify his claim. I responded by saying it was practically the same with Alex Smith that when his release or status as a FA was all but certain, he also got no calls or inquires. So based on that logic, Smith also isn't good. But whatever I guess I have to spell EVERYTHING out for people to understand anything.

****ing dumb, as usual.

Teams could not contact Alex Smith or his agent in 2013 because any team would have been charged with tampering.

By trading for Smith, the Chiefs insured they'd have a legitimate starting QB in 2013 that could run their offense. Had he gone to free agency, there most certainly would have been other teams interested in his services (Raiders, Cardinals, Bucs, Bills, etc.).

You know less about the NFL than my big toenail.

Just bought season tickets. A couple days at Chiefs camp and a few beer towers and I've drank the Kool-Aid.
