There definitely is a big random element, I think overall sacks aren't a very useful stat for that reason.

One of the biggest determinators in sacks is actually the opposing QB, rather than how good a pass rush is. Good QBs are getting rid of the ball and not taking sacks, bad/inexperienced QBs are taking sacks, but in both cases the guy pass rushing is doing an equally good job.

Pressure is a much better stat to actually look at to determine how well a Dline is playing.

Is spending 10M on this guy really going to move the needle for the Chiefs? I doubt it. I kinda feel the same way about Ingram.

I'd rather see Veach get creative with a trade of some sort, or hell see what you can get cheap that still on the market

Good! He is off the table. Work with what we have and revisit after June 1st cuts. Look for ANY reasonable defensive players and move forward even if none are available. Remember, we have 12 draft picks again next year so keep building this team through the draft! Loving the influx of youth into this team. Loving the direction Veach is taking us to.
